10 things most people don't know about bronzer
Undertone trumps shade. Most people choose bronzer based on how dark it is — but the undertone is often more important. A darker bronzer with the right undertone can look more natural than a light bronzer with the wrong undertone.
Bronzer shouldn't match your foundation. Bronzer should typically be 1–2 shades warmer or deeper than your foundation to create the warmth and dimension that brings skin to life.
Apply bronzer where the sun hits. Think forehead, cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and jawline — not the entire face. Too much bronzer all over results in a flat look.
